It is reasonably priced. Helpful staff, amazing views to town, everything is excellent. The location is stunning and close enough to major Chamonix tourist parts, restaurants, shops, train, cable car, the bus terminal and shops, restaurants and bars. The breakfasts are good with a wide range of options.

I loved how cozy Du Clocher felt. The room was comfortable, and the fine mountain views from my window were a highlight every morning. The staff radiated warmth. Breakfast was a delight with fresh pastries, quality cheeses, and good coffee. It's conveniently located just a block from the pedestrian area. The Wi-Fi left something to be desired-it was a bit spotty in the evenings. Noise from the neighboring rooms was also an issue occasionally. The absence of an electric kettle in the room was a slight inconvenience too. I'd recommend it for its charm and location, but be prepared for some minor inconveniences.

The visit was fantastic, and I enjoyed my stay as a solo traveler. The cozy single room offered magnificent views of the Aiguille Du Midi, which was the highlight each morning. Being just a block away from the pedestrian area made exploring Chamonix a breeze, and I loved the pressure of the shower after a long day on the slopes. It was wonderful that the hotel was so close to the ski lift and local shops too.

Fantastic mountain views and charming atmosphere.
While the hotel has potential, I was deeply frustrated by the lack of sound insulation. I could hear every step from the room above, and it reminded me of I was staying in a loud communal space rather than a hotel. The beds were uncomfortably small and hard. Lastly, check-in was disorganized.

While quite lovely, the sound insulation could use improvement.

Cozy vibes and great location!
We had such a nice time! The place was super clean and cozy, and it was just a 2-min walk to the main street. The host was like a sweet grandma. The breakfast spread was solid, and they even had a lovely picnic area. Only thing was, the Wi-Fi was kinda spotty at times.
